I am excited and privileged to be starting my third year at Magee as Principal. I believe that middle school is a pivotal moment in a child's life. I am honored to be able to be part of that journey for all our students. I truly believe that all students have the full potential to reach greatness. Our goal is to create a love for learning and an environment where everyone feels welcome. 

My whole educational career has been at the secondary level.  Middle School is truly where my heart is and I am constantly looking for new ways to make learning fun and exciting for both students and teachers. 

Building relationships is key to student success. It is important to me to maintain clear and honest communication at all times.

Estoy emocionada por tener el privilegio de comenzar mi tercer año en Magee como directora de la escuela. Yo creo que la etapa de secundaria es un momento esencial en la vida de un niño. Me honra poder ser parte de esa trayectoria para todos nuestros estudiantes. Realmente creo que todos los estudiantes tienen el potencial para alcanzar la grandeza. Nuestra meta es crear un amor por el aprendizaje y un entorno en el que todos se sientan bienvenidos.

Mi carrera educativa entera ha estado enfocada a nivel secundaria, en el cual está mi corazón, y constantemente estoy buscando maneras nuevas en las que puedo hacer el aprendizaje divertido y emocionante tanto para alumnos como para maestros.

Formar amistades es la clave para el éxito estudiantil. Para mí es importante mantener una comunicación clara y honesta todo el tiempo. ¡Por favor sienta la libertad de hablar conmigo cuando lo necesite! Me entusiasma conocer más a todos nuestros alumnos y familias este año escolar.

As I begin my 19th year in education and my 1st as an associate principal here at John T. Magee Middle School, I am thrilled to be part of such a vibrant and dynamic community. Having experience at both the high school and middle school levels, I can confidently say that middle school holds a special place for me. The energy, curiosity, and growth that define these years are truly amazing.

I am looking forward to getting to know each of our students and families. Middle school is a special time for students, and it is a privilege to be a part of your student’s journey. Whether it's in the classroom, at sporting events, musical performances, or any of the countless activities where our students shine, I am excited to be there to cheer them on and share in their successes.

Al comenzar mi décimo noveno año trabajando en la educación y mi primer año como subdirectora aquí en la Escuela Secundaria John T. Magee, me entusiasma ser parte de una comunidad tan vibrante y dinámica. Ya que tengo experiencia tanto a nivel preparatoria como a nivel secundaria, puedo decir con certeza que el nivel de secundaria tiene un lugar especial en mi corazón. La energía, curiosidad y crecimiento que define estos años es sorprendente.

Estoy ansiosa por conocer a cada uno de nuestros estudiantes y sus familias. La secundaria es un tiempo especial para los alumnos y es un privilegio ser parte de la trayectoria de su estudiante. Ya sea en el salón de clases, eventos deportivos, actuaciones musicales o alguna otra de las muchas actividades en las que brillan nuestros alumnos, me emociona estar aquí para echarles porras y compartir sus éxitos.

Gracias por darme la bienvenida a la comunidad de John T. Magee. Me entusiasman las oportunidades por venir y estoy comprometida en albergar un ambiente en el que cada alumno pueda prosperar. ¡Deseo que tengamos un año fantástico juntos!

Ms. Citali Flores

Hello! My name is Ms. Flores. I am an Assistant Principal of Student Services at Magee. I was formally Dean of Students at Round Lake High School. Before that, I was the 4th/3rd-grade bilingual teacher at Murphy. I graduated from the College of Lake County in 2014 with an AA degree and in 2017 with an AAS, Illinois State in interdisciplinary studies with a minor in bilingual education and TESOL in 2016. National Louis LBS 1 in 2020, Northeastern Illinois University, with a Leadership degree in the Fall of 2022. Helping others achieve their dreams is my passion!

Hola! Soy la Sra, Flores. Soy la Subdirectora de Servicios Estudiantiles de Magee. Anteriormente fui Decana de la Escuela Preparatoria Round Lake. Antes de eso fui maestra de 4to y 3er año en Murphy. Me gradue de College of Lake County en el 2014 AA y  2017  AAS, Illinois States Estudios Interdisciplinarios en Estudios Bilingües y TESOL 2016,  National Louis LBS 1 en 2020, Northeastern Illinois University en Liderazgo K-12 en el otoño de 2022. Mi pasión es ayudar a los demás a seguir sus sueños.
